well, i've finished a freelance work for a friend of mine.
the word i used here is friend thus i didn't charge her much. i think i charged half of what i usually expect but she's such a sweet girl. she's my cousin's friend too. so, it's really okay! besides i love doing it.

notice the illusive "Heavily modded by Jimmy Ang". It's really changed a lot.
The original design was blue and sucky. Now, see what grandmaster Jimmy has done to it!
He even added cute icons (side and bottom) also got nice illustration beside the post name and under every post. slogan also he add one. nice ar the slogan?

well, it's a compendium of places in malaysia and all over asia. it has food coverage, events, Penang (YES!), shopping malls (JB needs more quality ones) and Temples...
I've seen some of the posts. It's quite a nice read if you plan to know more about asia or the places you want to visit. even if you want to find know more about our culture, this is the blog to go to.
how did she find out about me? she saw my t-shirt. she said i damn good. got damn big talent. want to make me a millionaire so she ask me to design for her big website which i cannot reveal cause it's still top secret. but if successfull will earn her millions of dollars.

I used to design icons so I kinda know about this stuff.
Suggestion: Perhaps adding some shadow in some areas could give the site more depth. Doesnt have to be diffusing shadows, try shadow blocks as well.
