The Government will get together with local mobile service providers (MSPs) and Internet service providers (ISPs) soon to address the growing concern that children and youths can have access to pornographic and other inappropriate websites via their cellphones.

“We are in the process of arranging this meeting,” said Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jamaludin Jarjis. “We expect this meeting to take place in one or two weeks.”

my advice would be... download and stock up on porn as much as you want now! nah, just kidding. i think they couldn't stop kazaa/e-mule/...(insert any p2p program) even if they want to. come on, piracy has been the essence, the creme de le creme for every country since the beginning of INTERNET. countries have been trying to curb it since the dawn of technology but they can never really eradicate it as long as there is demand for it.

yes, this is a good step to curb porns from younglings but i doubt it can stop anyone above 15 years old from getting porn. the best way for the government in the long term is to eradicate the need for porn and that can be done through education.
